Hair Terminology

We have been doing this for over 30 years, we have so much expertise and want to share a few little tips with you for your understanding.

REMY HAIR

Remy is high quality human hair, it means the has the cuticle aligned. (For instance the human hair was cut and the bundled together, therefore your Remy wig has been created with hair that is going in the same direction as it would grow naturally).

Human hair that is not Remy could be hair that is not cutically aligned.

VIRGIN HAIR

Virgin hair has never been chemically treated or conditioned. It is natural in colour and condition - this reduces the risk of it reacting with any chemicals applied to the hair to colour it or style in any other way.

BLENDED

Blended human hair items, are a mix of human and synthetic hair. This allows for the luxury and fantastic properties of human hair to be mixed with the affordability of synthetic hair.

101 FIBRE

This is a specially developed & high-quality fibre, synthetic fibre hair - this feels super soft and allows the product to be heat styled.
