WEAVE WIZARD 2007 The first competition of its kind dedicated solely to showcasing the talent of the UK’s most talented weave and braid artists. All entries must be submitted by December 15th 2006! Award Categories Best Braid Best Micro Weave Best Cornrow based Weave Best Stocking Cap Weave Best College Weave Stylist Best Bridal Weave Best Avant Garde Weave People’s Choice (to be awarded at the Grand Final Awards Ceremony) Prizes: Each category will be awarded prizes as follows £1,000 £250 worth of Sleek products Years subscription to Blackhair Weave Wizard Trophy Certificate of excellence for all the winner participants The winner of the People’s Choice Weave Wizard Award, as voted by the audience on the night, will win an additional £1000 and a professional photoshoot and 2 pages of editorial in Blackhair. Judging Panel The jury will be composed of representatives of the ethnic beauty and fashion worlds: hairdressers, photographers, makeup artists and the press. The decision of the judging panel is final and no correspondence will be entered into. Judging Criteria - Each candidate will be awarded a mark out of 10 for technical ability and a mark out of 10 for creativity.
